Spatial Scattering Characteristics Measurement

Tenme provides BBMS-3000 BRDF/BTDF Measurement System can comprehensively analyze the reflection and transmission characteristics of material surface. Measurable quantities include bidirectional reflection distribution function(BRDF) and bidirectional transmission distribution function(BTDF), reflection ratio distribution and transmission ratio distribution, total integrated reflectance(TIR) and total integrated scatter(TIS). It can be applied in many fields,e.g. optical membrane, plastic, paper, textile, glass, coating, metal and so on, to characterize the optical appearance quantitatively. In addition, the BRDF/BTDF data can be imported into optical design software for optical system simulation design. photometric&colorimetric&electrical characteristics of LED, COB, and LED modules at different case/junction temperatures.
Main Features
1.By rotation of four axes(A axis,B axis,C axis,D axis), the hemispherical reflection/transmission distribution in arbitrary incident light direction can be measured.
2.Absolute normalization method, independent of a reference standard and applicable to samples of any shape any optical properties.
3.Meets the standards of ASTM E2387 and etc. The measured BRDF/BTDF data can be imported to optical design software, such as Tracepro, to assist in the simulation and design materials or systems.
4.Detector with large dynamic range and high test accuracy.
5.The light source can be tunable in the range of UV-VIS-NIR, so as to obtain the scattering characteristics of material surface under different conditions.
